Agroton storage capacities grow by 50,000 tons
Agroton Public Limited has entered into an investment agreement with Novoaydarskyy Elevator Subsidiary of SJSC Khlib Ukrainy, in respect to the Novoaydarskyy Elevator. The grain elevator, with a total storage capacity of 130,000 tons, previously had been partially rented by Agroton as part of operations.
Under the new agreement, Agroton Public Limited shall enjoy uninterrupted use of the grain elevator’s full 130,000 ton storage space in return for covering all elevator renovation, modernization and upkeep costs (up from its previous 80,000 ton lease right). The agreement shall remain in force until July 20, 2021. Beyond that time, Agroton Public Limited and Novoaydarskyy Elevator Subsidiary of SJSC Khlib Ukrainy shall enjoy joint use of the grain elevator, and the value of all elevator renovations and upgrades shall be majority-owned by Agroton.

The increased 50,000 tons of grain storage capacity is in line with our corporate strategy to expand operations, improve our ability to sell grain at strategic times, and to maintain our market leadership position in Eastern Ukraine.”
